3. Is there a limit on how much money I can send?
In any single transaction, a UK customer can remit upto GBP10,000 and a US customer can remit upto USD 1,500.
4. Where in India can the Gifts or Money be sent?
The money transfer service is available to any part of India as long as the recipient has a bonafide bank A/c and the receiving bank can accept electronic transfer that we use to transfer funds. This the sender has to ensure before using our service. The gifts can be sent to limited locations as long as these locations are served by the courier company that we use to deliver at the recipient's address. The flowers are delivered ONLY to the 4 metro locations.
5. How long does it take for the money transfer to go thru successfully ?
The Sendwise commitment of credit to the chosen bank account in in India is usually 24 hrs to 48 hrs (If all the account information we have requested is accurate) How soon the funds are received in the receiver's account depends also on how quick the recipient banks credit the funds and may also depend on the amount sent. ( If the amount is over INR 200,000, then the funds are credited faster than they are if they are less than this amount ).
6. Is it necessary for me or the recipient to have an account with you or Canara Bank?
No, neither you nor your recipient need to have an account with us or Canara Bank in India. However, it is mandatory that your recipient has a bank account in India and the bank supports electronic transfer. The account can be held with any bank. This does not in any way affect the speed of the transfer or funds receipt. It is important to note that different banks follow different procedures to credit the funds and there may not be a standard procedure.
7. How long does it take for the money to be credited into the recipient account?
From the time the order is received by Sendwise, it is usually 24 hrs to 48 working hours, which does not include weekends. If Sendwise receives the order during the weekend, then it will be taken up for processing on the next working day.
8. How can I avail the best exchange rate?
The exchange rate that you see on the website is the rate that is applicable to your transaction. The exchange rate is updated on the site once, every morning post 09:00 am GMT. The exchange rate that you see on the website is what will be applicable to your transaction.
9. What is the best time to place an order?
Sendwise usually processes the orders at 14:30 to 15:00 hrs GMT. Any order received before this time will be processed on the same day. Order received after this time window, will be taken up for processing the next day. However for any other gift order ( Besides money ), we request that the order be received at least 3 to 4 days in advance to enable us to schedule the delivery on time and to ensure that only the freshest products are despatched directly from the factory . If there is any special instruction that you wish to communicate, please send us an e- mail after placing the order, quoting the order reference number to atyourservice@sendwise.com. We are happy to address them for you.

However for mithais orders, we request that the order be received at least three days in advance to enable us to schedule the delivery on time and to ensure that only the freshest sweets are despatched directly from the factory . If you would like to schedule an order on a specific day, please send us an e- mail after placing the order to atyourservice@sendwise.com
10. I am worried about typing in my card details - couldn't any hacker get them?
The important thing to remember is that every time you hand over your card in a shop or a restaurant, you are running a statistically higher risk of misuse than you are when you type your details over the internet. We use encryption technology to scramble data as it passes across the Internet and the site itself does not store credit card details even for an instant.
