Popular the world over as the Mother who fulfills whatever her children wish for, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji resides in the holy caves located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta.

The Holy Cave of the Mother is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft. The Yatris have to undertake a trek of nearly 12 km from the base camp at Katra. Walking for 12-13 Kms. can be arduous and tiring for those not used to it.

Days of operation and timing

  • The flights operate DAILY, 365 days a year*
  • Flight Timings - helicopter services operate from 8 am to 6 pm between Katra and Sanjichhat heliports every 15 minutes.
  • The flight from Katra to Sanjichhat (or vice-versa) takes around eight minutes
  • We use Eurocopter AS350 B3 helicopter which can carry five passengers

  • Katra-Sanjichhat or Sanjichhat-Katra (one way helicopter flight) - Rs. 699 per person plus service charges
  • Katra-Sanjichhat-Katra (return helicopter flight) Rs. 1,398/- per person plus service charges.
